We often feel like the world is a pressure cooker designed to crush us. We face "The Dip"—that difficult season where our initial excitement fades and the weight of our responsibilities feels unbearable. However, Scripture reminds us that we are "earthen vessels" containing an incredible treasure: the Holy Spirit. Paul’s life teaches us that being hard-pressed does not mean being destroyed.
Through the principle of death and resurrection, we learn that when we die to our own comforts and "me-centered" desires, the life of Jesus begins to shine through our cracks. If you are feeling the heat today, remember that the surpassing power belongs to God. Keep your eyes on the prize, refuse to quit, and allow the Holy Spirit to fill you a-fresh for the journey ahead.
