This week, we were honored to hear from District Superintendent Dr. Brian Powell on the essential nature of prayer. Exploring the seven-fold structure of the Lord's Prayer, Dr. Powell challenged us to move beyond "trash basket" prayers into a life of expectant, reverent, and submissive communication with our Father.
We discussed the vital importance of being "spiritually realistic" about the schemes of the enemy and the transformative power of a God who can redeem even the most wayward heart.
